ICOP Digital, Inc. complies with material specifications set forth in the IACP Specifications Framework. ICOP Digital, Inc. has always maintained that there are two key material specifications regarding in-car video systems. First and foremost is Officer Safety. Video systems should provide officer safety in two ways: first, they should capture video to serve as a deterrent to criminal activity and also to provide evidence when a physical confrontation escalates, and second, the equipment itself must not endanger the officers. Systems that mount overhead more often than not violate the specifications set forth in the IACP’s Frameworks document. The second key in-car video element is image quality. If the video captured is to provide unimpeachable evidence in prosecuting a case, the images must be clear and capable of being enlarged for courtroom evidence presentation. The ICOP Model 20/20-W captures the highest quality video simultaneously on 2 cameras. |
