Management Team

ICOP Digital's management team is a group of experienced professionals. Among their business backgrounds are a combination of successful operations that incorporated all of the elements currently being implemented at ICOP Digital. The ability to envision, design, develop and bring products to the market is the hallmark of this team.

David C. Owen - Chairman and CEODavid C. Owen

Mr. Owen has more than 40 years' experience in the financial industry having served as Chairman, President and CEO of two banks in the Kansas City area and as Regional Manager for Stephens, Inc., an investment banking firm located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Owen has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and in the financial reporting requirements of public companies. Mr. Owen has served as State Senator and Lt. Governor of Kansas. Currently, Mr. Owen is responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth and leadership of ICOP Digital, Inc., directing the daily operations of the Company and overseeing the adequacy and soundness of the organization's financial structure. Mr. Owen is a graduate of Ottawa University, Ottawa, Kansas with a degree in Economics. Mr. Owen also received post graduate training at Ohio State University and Rutgers University in conjunction with the American Bankers Association. Mr. Owen is Chairman of the David C. Owen Leadership Institute at Ottawa University and is a member of the Presidents Council as well as the Board of the University's Braves Athletic Hall of Fame to which he was elected in 2000. He is a lifelong member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and served as a member of the Kansas City Board of Directors.

Laura E. Owen - President, Chief Operating Officer and Director Laura Owen

Ms. Owen has over 30 years of business experience in video technology development, investment banking, and business development. At ICOP, she is responsible for guiding the strategic development/partnerships for the Company, oversight of sales and marketing, and corporate administration. Ms. Owen was the first woman appointed Secretary of Commerce (KDOC) for the State of Kansas, and she has served on numerous state boards and commissions. Ms. Owen served on the board of Heart to Heart International for ten years, a global humanitarian organization which delivers medicine and medical supplies to areas of need, worldwide. She was named one of the “2007 Women Who Mean Business” by the Kansas City Business Journal. Ms. Owen designed the Heart for a Hero™ necklace, to honor those who serve our Nation in Law Enforcement and Military Service. She a graduate of Delaware Valley College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and she studied at the Sorbonne University in Paris.

 

Mickie Koslofsky - CFO

Mickie Koslofsky

Ms. Koslofsky brings more than 17 years' experience and notable expertise in the areas of accounting, financial systems and analysis, budgeting/forecasting, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance. She has served as Accounting Manager for privately-held CyDex Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a Lenexa-based specialty pharmaceutical company. Prior positions also included Senior Manager of Financial Reporting for Aptuit, Inc., a global pharmaceutical service company headquartered in Connecticut; and Senior Financial Analyst at several Kansas City area companies, including Kansas City Southern (NYSE:KSU), DST Systems, Inc. (NYSE:DST) and Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE:S). A licensed Certified Public Accountant, Koslofsky is a graduate of Montana State University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. She also holds an MBA from Baker University.
David H. Nicholl – Director of Product Research & Development

David Nicholl

As the Director of Product Research and Development for ICOP, Mr. Nicholl manages development of state-of-the-art, quality ICOP products, that customers value. He advises Company leadership on technical strategy for the delivery of innovative, leading-edge capabilities that drive the growth of ICOP, consistent with the Company’s mission and objectives, and manages the Company’s product and technology roadmap. Mr. Nicholl joined ICOP in 2006, serving as Director of Technology and Software Product Manager. Mr. Nicholl came to ICOP from Bayer Healthcare, where he held numerous development-related positions, and he played key roles in Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma process improvement initiatives. Mr. Nicholl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University.
